Cool Material has a list called What NOT to Buy Your Girlfriend for Christmas. Now, you may look at these things and think "Cool!" but take it from me, many of these are land mines that you may spend the next year trying to explain in a way that won't end your relationship (you might even end up in The Doghouse). She may like one of these items, but you'll need to feel her out beforehand. Uh, I mean talk to her about it specifically. Others are just plain ...dumb.
