"Yes Man" **1/2 (out of four): Mid-level addition to the sub-genre: "The Jim Carrey Comedy".

For the average viewer, hearing that "Yes Man" is a Jim Carrey comedy will tell them everything that they need to know. And sure enough, this movie does represent a return of the Jim Carrey that was either loved or hated in "Liar Liar" or "Bruce Almighty".
