Ask Men has an interesting list: the Top 10 Things Every Man Regrets Buying. However, it's a slow-loading ten page slide show with interstitial ads, redirected ad pages, and popups, so I went through and jotted down the title of each page. Except for the ad pages. You can click the link if you want to read more about each item.
1. Jewelry for the ex2. Tattoo
3. Exotic pets
4. The expensive fashion fad
5. Exercise equipment
6. Anything off eBay
7. As seen on TV
8. Unnecessary grooming products
9. Porn
10. The DVD collection
Of course, this is a guy thing, but my first thought was that the jewelry will fade from your mind long before the tats. Unless your ex wears the expensive jewelry every time she picks up the kids after visitation... but kids eventually grow up, and tats just sag.
So what's the thing you most regret buying?

I love that guys tattoo. Great use of phonics. Except for porn I don't know that I bought any of that stuff (porn's cheap so no problems there)... Actually, once, in the 80's I bought a skinny paisley tie that I never wore.
I'd like to take bake my purchase of that index fund a couple years back. Lost haff itz value. I can haz bailout?
Wow...
1. Jewelry for the ex - No, never. I regret paying for my own wedding ring, but I was able to melt it for more than I paid for it. Huzzah the declining dollar and rising gold prices I guess.
2. Tattoo - Knew I'd regret it, never went there. Now I regret not going there. Hmmm.... It would seem this story needs a moral.
3. Exotic pets - Much easier to date women with exotic pets. Note: If you hook up with a chick who has any type of exotic pets, it's a good sign that she's not all there. Hit it and split brother.
4. The expensive fashion fad - Nope, thankfully I don't read men's fashion magazines. (Unless Miss Celania links to them.)
5. Exercise equipment - I have 1 set of SelecTech dumbells and a bench. Don't regret a second or dollar of it.
6. Anything off eBay - Ummm, I've bought alot of good guitars and pipes off e-bay. Also a nice heart rate monitor. Ebay has been a solid win for me in the purchasing department.
7. As seen on TV - I inherently distrust Infomercials. There are good products I refuse to use because they're from infomercials.
8. Unnecessary grooming products - Men...? Grooming products...? Wha?
9. Porn - Never buy it, never regret it.
10. The DVD collection - Nope. Just a few great and hard to find titles in my library. Now, the VHS collection is a different story.
Wow, I didn't get one of the ten items. Does that make me a woman or something?
No, that just makes you ahead of the game.
Porn?! I don't think so... Maybe just the sanctimonious "lostindajungle".
What? No Taiwanese hooker that gave you that STD regret?
