The kid's TV show Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends had a special "surprise" guest on their Macy's parade float. Which makes it official: Rickrolling has jumped the shark. Even your grandma knows what's going on now, so it's time to move on.
Waddayawannabet the Rickrolling phenomenon will soon be featured in Reader's Digest?

He's not a very good lip syncher. He needs to take some lessons from Britney.
I thought it was bloody classic
So Rick won't show up for the MTV Europe awards which he won "Best Artist Ever" award all because of the rickroll pheom but he shows up to spoof himself for Macy*s?
Rick, you tool.
The MTV Europe awards were being snarky in giving him that award. They were basically making fun of him to his face. At least this way, at the parade, he was the one in control of the joke.
I remember when that song was a hit. You could dance to it and the ladies seemed to like it. You kids now, with your gangster rap and all that, bah, you don't know good music.
Just plain Fucking Epic...
Good one Rick...
Good one Cartoon Network...
At least the guy has a good sense of humour and embraced the Rick Rolling phenomenon. Pretty funny, even with the bad lip sync. Echowood would have done it better with his ex-girlfriend...
E, you're so fucking right man... Today's music has got such a downward spiral going to the Pit of Hades, in my opinion. All the thrash the industry is selling, those Disney Channel musicals, the 'gangstas', the boy bands, Britney and her clones... Damn, sometimes I really miss the 80's...
Check out a band called The Answer. They're from the UK.
Very late 70s hard rock.
I started laughing when Rick Astley came out of the float and sang. Then I laughed harder when I realized that NO ONE in my family got it! They had never heard of Rickrolling!
It's official - the internet is retarded.
Ted, Rick may give you up.
wow, that was epic.
And also, i may be just 14, but even I can tell the difference between good music (80s) and horrible music (all rap and such).
LONG LIVE IRON MAIDEN!!!
And when you're older, you'll realize that the really good music is from the 70s.
I love it when Miss C comes on here and preaches from the good book. The seventies were some good times. Tough economic times, but good times.
Album rock/Arena rock ruled.
Hearing some of the crap today makes me think that I just might if I have to I could probably get myself to maybe listen to a few seconds of the Bee Gees. You know, strictly for nostalgic purposes.
