That little voice inside your head that makes you think before you speak can really get you down. Sometimes you want to complain, bitch, moan, or even explode with rage, yet you don't because the consequences may be felt for a long time to come. Then there are those of us who don't have anyone to talk to anyway, so complaining is pointless. Of course, there's the internet. You can post your deepest darkest thoughts to people all over -but wait. Some of those people know you. The people you want to bitch about might find it. Your mom might even read it! OK, so here's a place where you can get it out of your system relatively anonymously.
moanlog is an experimental site where we encourage everyone to let out any 'gripes' they may have. You can moan about anything you wish. From your neighbour who has sex too loud or perhaps an intermittent glitch on your new mobile phone that is driving you mad. moanlog is here for you to release and to moan about the things that you might be too reserved to reveal anywhere else.
If you don't want to vent just yet, you'll still get a kick out of the endless list of miseries others have aired. It might make you feel that your life isn't so bad!
(Thanks, Max!)

nice idea....but my American brain is having a hard time wading through some of the British English...
although arse instead of ass just cracks me up
Its not British English. Its just called English. Being from England and all I thought that would be a give away.
I mean, they did invent the language after all, Americans just bastardized it.
I was referring to things like money being in pounds, the use of the words arse and uni....etc.
It's hard for me to sympathize with rants when I have to convert currency and then feel bad because even in a global economic crisis they still have a stronger currency...
(yes, things cost more, etc...)
forgive me for commenting...in my defense, I did own up to having an American brain...that was not coming from a position of superiority, just plain fact...I wouldn't be insulted if a Brit wrote about having a difficult time with American English....
Agreed Sarcky. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought his was a rude comment.
And we're not the only ones who supposedly "bastardized" English. I'm pretty sure (call me crazy) that the world population who also spoke English were changing it and using their own slang LONG before Americans.
What an awful website..why are people so pissed off?? They should take all of the people who posted on that website to an island somewhere and let them kill each other :)
Cindy, there is some definite anger brewing there--but I get the impression that many of them are sharing dorm rooms or other cramped spaces with non-blood related individuals. That can take it's toll on even the most level headed people--especially if lack of sleep is added into the equation.
And, giving them a place to vent might be helping to keep the crime rate down....
What a bunch of angry people... but I agree that it's better that they put their angry there than go out on a raging attitude.
Agreed on that one sarcastic..but why are people so angry these days?? I mean, one guy was angry that his fat roommate was bringing snacks to eat for both of them when they could both stand to lose a few pounds..Why not just say, "No thanks, I'll pass, I'm trying to lose a few..". Some people need to take a serious chill..
