While I'm usually very wary of more Kitchen Gadgets to clutter up the counter, there's something pretty genius looking about George Forman's newest invention - a low fat deep fat fryer called the Lean Mean Fryer. At the end of the cooking cycle, a centrifugal spin cycle rotates the cooked food, pushing out up to 55% of the fat that's absorbed with cooking.

Believe me, I know that deep fat frying is not good for your health, but it's still the only way to make perfect fries. So put this one on my Christmas list.
