Don't ask me why, but I was looking at local malls and their layout via Google Maps. During this research, I realized there is some sort of protective force field over our local
Palisades Center. This can be the only suitable explanation as to why, when the satellite taking the
photo of the mall for Google Maps, blurred out the exact area of the mall.

I'm on to something big here. Just look at the side-by-side comparison of the mall and an area close by taken at the same zoom level. Forget searching for the Yeti, this is where the real mystery is.
Thinking that it's an anti-terror thing, I checked out other large malls, such as the
Mall of America and found no such blur. Hell, even the
Pentagon is unblurred. So what's so important about the Palisades Center that allows it to receive the blur treatment from Google Maps? Perhaps there's a secret parking space near the Cheesecake Factory they don't want you knowing about.
They do this with some military installations too.
Maybe in the event of a nuclear war the mall will split open revealing a nuclear missle silo underneath.
(sigh) Damn paparazzi. They've messed it up for everyone! It's sad that a grown man can't even find a suitable mall on Google Maps without censorship.
Also, I heard that they're building 'paparazzi proof' condos in Los Angeles. I think it's some type of mirrored glass where it prevents photos from being taken from outside.
That's nothing. Check out any of the NY state prisons. (Ossining, NY has one for instance) You think the mall is blurred. The state prisons look like they were colored in with a crayon.
The strange thing is, none of these places are blurred out on Microsoft's Virtual Earth.
Oh, that's just great, E. Clue in the terrorist organizations the world over, why don't you. While you're at it, how about telling them the best place and way to shell the White House.

Hey! We shop at Palisades all the time. I wondered why I spend more than I plan every time we go; now I know why.
Damn force field.
Dude.. it's a fucking mall. Why the hell would they spend money to blur a mall, and obviously, they don't get that people can still post pictures of the unblurred mall on other sites. I heard there was a guy that for a time posted images of area 51 that they actually masked. I don't think blurring is a good way to hide something because eventually, somebody, somewhere will post the unblurred image. I'm not saying it's right or even legal but they need better security measures than just blurring it on ONE mapping service. It looks fine on Microsoft's Live Maps. Pfft.
