Forget any sensible discussion of who won the debate or who was the most impressive, or who got the facts right. They both did a good job - Palin was much better than I expected, and Biden put on a very impressive performance.
But the main topic in our household was "what is up with her neck?" I'm not sure if you could see that on regular television, but on the Hi Def I was watching on CNN, there was some serious crinkling going on down there - nervous hives under pancake makeup?
If I can find a good picture I'll post it here later - but the thought of a VP breaking out into hives every time she gets nervous strikes me that the opportunity for bluffing your opponent starts to lose it's edge. I wasn't the only one to notice it.

On regular TV I did notice that she has mastered the ability to stay smiling when she is ripping someone a new a-hole. I wish I could do that.
Yeah I noticed her neck too. Also on HD it's very apparent that Biden has had some work done around his eyes recently.

Biden's teeth must have looked like the sun in HD. I got low def so Palin could have leprosy and I wouldna noticed.
Also thought it was odd that she kept winking at her friends in the audience. Not really a great look imho.

Sarah Palin SHOULD break out in hives for that epic failure last night. I agree, the winks and the "shout out" to the 3rd graders? What was she thinking? Oh, and what about the fact she prounounced nuclear "nucular". I just can't think how anyone who watched the whole debate could possibly think she did a good job. There's a little thing called professionalism she'd be wise to learn and learn quickly. Oh, the hell with that, just let her hang herself. I'm voting for Obama anyhow.
Yeah "Nu-cu-ler" made my skin crawl too. In her nervousness, she even called Joe "Senator Obiden" once. Poor thing. She's got the IQ of a moose. A dead moose. The dead moose mounted in her baby's nursery.
I didn't notice the mark on her neck. Perhaps she went for prayer just before the debate, and had a reaction to the Holy Water.
It's a sad day for the Dems when a woman with hives, who winks alot, smiles while trouncing their guy, tosses shout outs around and can't pronounce nuclear on a regular basis, beats the piss out of Biden.
