My friend Evan reminded me about the unique New York and film set regular Radioman on his blog today. As a former employee of the Late Show with David Letterman, I met Craig "Radioman" Schwartz (Castaldo) several times. He'd stand outside the "guest door" at the studio and would greet celebrities as they made their way into shows. (I also caught a glimpse of him riding his bike in Columbus Circle last year.) I don't know much about him, other than he runs a movie set location hotline and has been in a bunch of movies. (The Departed, Zoolander, Elf) Next time you're watching a movie which takes place in New York, look out for the (apparently) homeless man with the boombox around his neck. That would be him.
