Quotes from 48 year old Apollonia Castiltione:
I never saw anything so spectacular.and
I went to look at it one day and was like, 'It's a little long,' then a few days later, I said, 'Oh, my God, what's this?'and
I decided I wasn't going to touch it and just let it grow.and
It's getting hard, so wouldn't be good to eat anymore and it's starting to grow very slowly.and
It's so straight, it's so perfect. Usually, some are really crooked.Brought to you by

What's the first thing Adam said to Eve?
'Stand back. I don't know how big this thing gets.'
Thank you very much. I'll be here all week.
You have just blurred any joke I would come with for this picture... ahahaha
This Adam and Eve one is so old and still so funny...
By the way... It's a very "captionable" picture...
Ahhhh! Emerald City!! Lindsey looks happy. Echo has some pretty big shoes to fill.
No problem---I saw the article and did a double take because it's the type of thing I usually stumble across first here (and no, I was not looking for world record size zucchini when I found this!)
My only confusion...I thought they were better to eat when they got hard and had stopped growing...who wants mushy...oh--wait--I forgot it is an actual zucchini--never mind....
Just like Hurricane Ike hitting the U.S., sometimes the jokes just write themselves.
B.D. : Dammit man, you damn near made me choke. You try swallowing a spoonful of cornflakes, and laughing like a hyena at the same time. I Never made the connection before. I Guess that makes the east coast Tina huh?
:-) I was thinking, if NOAA had any sense of humor, they'd forgoe the naming conventions they traditionally use just this once and put Hurricane Tina before Hurricane Ike. That would surely make people think more positively towards weathermen. But that's only a wish.........
Hurricane Papa Joe Jackson has a nice ring to it.
Nah, we just need a small caribbean island named Tina. That way we can see News headlines like "Ike Batters Tina!!!" or "Ike Hits Tina With Devastating Force!!!"
Ike batters Tina: dozens killed.
there were no survivors...
It's a shame she had to remove the scaffolding she had next to the cucumber. Surely there must be some great pictures of her at the top right next to the tip...
