At the weekend, when I should have been paying more attention to my wife and children, and maybe helping out just a little around the house, I instead got sucked into a stupid online game that proved so addictive I had to play it until I finished it. Now it's your turn.
Bloons Tower Defence 3 at first seems deceptively simple. Stop balloons from traveling across the screen by employing a variety of popping devices. But as you get further into the game, it become a strategy-game to challenge Risk. And those balloons make such a satisfying sound when they pop.
I'm telling you, be careful. Very addictive. And this was BEFORE I bought SPORE....

Looks fun! I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on Spore. I've heard pretty negative reviews so far, which is sad for such a long-awaited game.
Brief Spore Review....
I wouldn't go as far as to give it a completely negative review, but I'm not sure what the hype was all about. The early stages have the fun creature creator that most people have already played with, but there's a lot of boring repetitive work to advance. I was hoping that the biological evolution was a more integral part of the game, but it's really no more than character customization as you find in many games.
You'll also find that you shoot through the first four stages in a few hours, leaving the last galactic conquest section open ended. For anyone that remembers Elite on the Atari ST, this is almost exactly the same - trading, fighting, start system hopping, with a few missions thrown in. I used to like Elite a lot, so this wasn't a bad thing for me, but believe me, it's not ground breaking.
Another Desktop Tower Defense clone?
Thanks for crapping on my work productivity!
seriously, just so i can get an idea of how much of my day is going to be sucked away by this game, how many levels are there on each track?
