Over the weekend we ran a story about Pastor Thomas Muthee, a church leader who often spoke at Sarah Palin's church, the Wasilla Assembly of God. She credits his prayers for helping her become Governor of Alaska.
Now other than promoting the word of God, Muthee is also quite devoted to fighting witchcraft. This evil is something he believes Sarah must be protected from, as you'll see in this video.

Well, as an atheist I'd say all ceremony of this kind looks not my cup of tea.
Let's see he asks for rieghteus (sp) support and protection against various stuff, including witchcraft. Don't know. Define witchcraft for me.
Sarah is just standing there. I don't know what she thinks of when she hears the term witchcraft. I'd guess she doesn't mean Salem stuff. I could be wrong though.
All that said, I'd like to know what she thinks could have been done to prevent the Collateralized Mortgage bailout on the table this week. What can be done to keep this from happening in the future? Why are the taxpayers going to be bailing out financial insitutions whose whole job, in a sense, is to manage the risk of which they are now facing the downside?
Automatic second question to the answer 'Cause it will negatively affect the whole of America that depends on the stability of said financial institutions.'
If the government is going to be protecting these institutions from downside risk for the betterment of the whole financial community, why doesn't the government get any of the upside?
Bonus question - if the govt is bailing out AIG, how can Republicans justify keeping the govt out of Health Care?
Ask that and then ask her what she thought of The Exorcist. (It rocked btw).
This doesn't strike me as too different than what we found before, but it does cement the story.
Does anyone know what the time frame of this video was? How old was it? Rev. Muthee is talking about her restoring the nation. Is it after she was a candidate?

A couple years back housing prices in the Las Vegas area were increasing at up to 40%. Isn't that obviously unsustainable? Why would anyone buy pooled mortgages with that crap in there? Apparently these purchases were made buy major institutions. How/Why? Give examples. Now that these collateralized debts OBVIOUSLY suck, how do we negatively reward the bad actors in this tragicomedy?

I don't think it's going to be an issue. But I think until the mccain campaign lets her off the leash, it will.
