Not a lot of detail is know about this footage. Here's what we do know: There is an Indian reality television show called Dadagiri. The call the mess the "meanest show on TV."
Contestants relive bad experiences. I think. One of the characters on the show is Isha the Goddess. She insults the contestants. While doing so, she smacked one of them.
He retaliated. With extreme prejudice. There is some naughty language. Turn it down if you are at work.
Bloody hell that was hard. My question is where did all the spectators come from? They keep appearing like clowns out of a Volkswagen. Did the entire studio audience rush the stage? And why is the slapper crying?

Well, she slapped first, so imho, she's the asshole. Then again, this is why I don't do reality tv, even though I am star material for sure.
Would New York do this? My guess is yes but VH1 has better guards.
I'm guessing that was great for their ratings. Call me Isha! We'll do lunch.
One of those situations where gender equality gets a little fuzzy.
Something tells me I would be tempted to do the same thing in that situation. I'm not sure her slapping him was part of the gag... she seemed pissed at his response to her telling him to 'Fuck off...', so maybe she broke character there for a bit and reacted for real-real. If so, she got what she deserved.
Plus, that was TOTALLY hot!
Unless her slapping people is standard operating procedure on the show, she got what she had coming to her.
When women slap men (hell ANYONE), it's fair game. They've instantly voided their Chivalry Warranty, and should suffer whatever consequences that follow. In this case, her consequence was getting her neck adjusted...with a fist. Good for her.
And no, I don't think dudes should go around punching chicks in the face, but I certainly don't think that they should be expected to turn the other cheek when blatant civil disrespect has been shown. We're all human, and the way she slapped him was clearly crossing the line.
I'm waiting to see which side Andy Dick weighs in on this before rushing to judgment.
The lush Indian accents make the violence so dang palatable. Nummy.
We always wait for Andy Dick to weigh in before deciding guilt. Always.
Andy Dick be damned, i wana see a rematch. Dare i say, cage match?
The stage hand that flew back into the fray was classic.
Based on the crying and the overall pussyness, I'd say that WAS Andy Dick.
I've seen this happen in before in bad improv. Someone "playing" the domineering role get's so invested in their character that, when challenged by another player, they snap. Deep-seated insecurities well-up into anger when your play-ego gets hurt. He upstaged her and she snapped. 0.5 seconds after the smack, it looks as though he realizes the weight of his trigger response and is about to say "oh fuck".
Sex equality apart...
If the face slapping was not in the plot, she may have deserved a little of this reaction.
But in the other hand, when a guy accepts to join a show where he's going to be roughly insulted, he might be prepared to everything.
CLC, can we have a cage session with them to solve this question?
