Full Disclosure: I'm not African-American. And, growing up in Connecticut, the closest I'd ever got to an African-American was watching Arnold and Willis and their hijinks in Mr. Drummond's apartment. This all changed when I went to college, and discovered that the bubble of Connecticut is not exactly how the rest of the world lives. It was in college that I met Ernest, who taught me all about race relations, writing and traveling. Currently living in South America, Ernest considers himself a "jetrosexual" that of someone who can go anywhere at a moment's notice. He's taken his love of travel and writing and put it into "
Fly Brother" which encourages the African American community to travel as well as gives hints and tips on traveling abroad.
I just stumbled onto this blog a couple of days ago and I'm looking forward to what he's got to say. His "Walking Papers" post is exactly the kind of travel article I like to read.
