Choco-Bacon

20080825-baconcandy.jpg

I love all things bacon, and all things chocolate, so it's a great way to start the week when my two loves combine. I've previously mentioned the widely available Voges and Zotter bacon-flavored chocolate bars, but if you want to go hardcore, head to the Essex Street Market on New York's Lower East Side, where you'll find Roni-Sue's Chocolates. And specifically, Jimmy Dean bacon, deep fried, and then hand dipped in chocolate. your arteries will love you for it. (via Serious Eats)

I just made chocolate covered bacon this weekend. It was strangely good. It reminds me of the salty/sweet vibe of chocolate covered pretzels.

I love chocolate and bacon just as much as the next fat guy but these look like turds.

They really look like turds... But that's a turd sandwich I can bear.
If it's done with dark chocolate, of course.

Where's Jeni 'the turder' Gump?

Remind me to send you the business card of the best cardiologist on the East Coast....

You get the appointment after me--because this looks disgustingly good....

speaking of where are they nows...where the heck is Dave (CLC, do you know? Is it your turn to bail him out?)???

Dave has travelled for some days, he was needing a rest. You know, running a presidential campaign is not easy.
But we're here taking care of business.

I know it's way off-topic, but is it true? Was Kellogg swimming faster than General Mills?
