Some of the bacon things i've seen here are way over the top but this one look damn yummy.

Forget Glamour's 'engagement chicken'---I think this is what would make a man propose...
but this is cardiologist porn for sure.....I can almost smell them just by looking at the picture....

Okay, I had to try making them (curiosity killed the 'cat'...you know the rest)...

These are in the state fair food category for sure...a decadent, sweet, fatty, gooey, make you trip your grandmother to get to the front of the line for them type of food. More than once or twice a year and I wouldn't enjoy them as much.
My advice, bake for the longest amount of time on the package, make sure all rolls are touching and with the end of the spiral facing inwards (otherwise they start to unwind as they bake).

Also, use the big Grand style rolls, not the regular size--I used the brown sugar (regular) Gwantley bacon and it stood up from the smaller size rolls.

Only criticism is that I like my bacon really crispy, and it seems like in order to get the bacon like that you'd have to burn the cinnamon rolls. Unless you broil them for the last minute or two?

I can't bring myself to try another batch in the very near future, but let me know what your results are (I honestly only baked three out of 8 as bacon rolls, partly because I'll be saving the remainder for a later sitting, and in case they bombed I didn't take down the whole package with the experiment).
