While remembering fondly the "Beloved Aunt" episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm...In an Associated Press story about potential vice president possibilities, a typo is inspiring snickers and giggles.
It may be fixed soon, but in this story, an extra "r" makes a huge difference in describing John McCain's short list of running mates.
His top contenders are said to include Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. Less traditional choices mentioned include former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge, an abortion-rights supporter, and Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman, the Democratic vice presidential prick in 2000 who now is an independent.
Oops.
Yeah, I think they mean pick. Pretty sure. Good times.

Great. Now McCain's camp is getting ready to write a 14 page letter to the president of whichever news outlet published the typo, demanding an apology and accusing them of 'biased media coverage'.
Pricks.
that list is a who's who of... humm many things come to mind, none are running mates.
if McCain won (by way of dumb voters of further theft) his running mate would just be VP for at most 8 months before McCain buys the farm.
McCain should ask for an apology, or someone should. This is most definitely NOT a typo, as a glance at any QWERTY keyboard will tell you.
Freud would be so pleased.
