A two headed boy named Kiron was born a couple days ago in Bangladesh. Sadly, the young man passed away after developing a fever and breathing difficulties.
Kiron weighed 12 lbs 1 oz and was born by Cesarean section. Though he was able to eat through both mouths, he only had one stomach.
The Telegraph reports:
The boy had been placed under police protection when more than 150,000 people gathered outside the clinic in the town of Keshobpur.
After Kiron had died, local press reported that thousands spontaneously donated money to the grieving family.
Sleep warm, young man.

Shouldn't that be sleep well, young men? Two heads = two brains = two people. right?
I'm honestly not meaning to poke fun.
I see what you're saying Mutt, but since the lad only had one name, I thought it should be singular. I don't know if I'm right about that.

Despite my name, I'm not going to make fun of this one...I side with Mr Wright on this one because brains do not a person make--if that were true, we'd have no president, if I follow the logic correctly...
r.i.p. little guy.....
I'm so sad to hear of the families loss. My wife and I just had a baby and I can't imagine something like that happening to him. It's devastating. My condolences go out to the family. They now have a little angel looking down on them.
Thanks for the thoughts Alex. We're seldom serious here, certainly not myself, but I thought it was an important and interesting story. One can certainly feel sympathy for the family. All the way in Bangladesh. I don't think borders or ideology matter in the story of little Kiron.
There is a two headed girl. Abby and Brittany Hensel -Two heads one body - They must be about 18 now. Last I heard they were learning to drive. They have been on a couple of shows on Discovery Channel. They seem happy and well adjusted.
I second on Alex.
I have a 11 months old girl, and I don't know what would become of me if I came to lose her.
Even a baby with such malformation, is an angel that enters our lives, and it hurts to see such a little piece of us leaving this way. It's hard.
Rest in peace little fella...
Thanks for posting that Johnny. One of the core reasons I love YBNBY is because it explores with such enthusiasm the great and strange variety that is unique to the human experience.
Amazing and heartbreaking. RIP Kiron.
It's too bad that the community couldn't come together to help the family before the little guy passed away. Too much reaction and not action in our world. I hope his family realizes the blessing that he is to them and the world. RIP.
