It's my birthday on Monday, and I've been wracking my brain to think what you could all get me. I mean, I know you're not cheap, but then again, I wouldn't want to stretch you too far.
Here's a perfect off the wall present that keeps on giving - the Pencil of the Month club. $72 a year gets your gift recipient "2 to 3 interesting pencils plus sometimes a pencil accessory" each month. And if you really want to impress, go for the Limited Edition version - slightly more, but it promises an extra VINTAGE PENCIL "to see, to hold and to use!"
Because, you know, you can never have enough special pencils.

Kinda makes me wonder how they define "interesting" and "vintage." And where "riddled with teethmarks" falls on their rubric.
Have pencils changed that much that you'd notice if one was "vintage"? I mean, the Ticonderoga #2 pencils that I just bought for my kids look, feel, and work exactly like the Ticonderoga #2 pencils that I was using in school 20 years ago.
That vintage Blackwell that I pictured above goes on eBay for about $80, if you can find it.
