Nike's new Olympic spot is worth taking a look at. Having Steve Prefontaine featured in the ad makes me very pleased.

That song was a great choice for the spot too.

great ad (ok i didn't really watch it) nuthin' like cashin' in on a dead guy. don't gotta pay em!!
I don't know johnny, it seems the games have become a big stage for nike vs. adidas to see who can cash in bigger, better, faster?
But wasn't that a great opening? Somebody said that there was way too much fireworks. I had to laugh and told him that this is the land where fireworks was created...
Yeah Juls, I suppose that's true, the Games are very corporate. But so is everything else. I try to ignore that part and just enjoy the spectacle of sport and the athletes. I just try to block that stuff out. Even with all the corporations, the Olympics may still be the purest exhibition of sports there is. I don't know...
The ceremonies were good. I liked the guys in the Tron outfits with the fiber-optics. And the guy running in the air. I'm not a big opening/closing ceremonies guy, but Beijing did an amazing job.
Oh, and "fake name," if that is your real name and not a fake name, I suppose there is worse ways to cash in on the dead. Like Elvis' estate signing off on those Viva Viagra ads. Those make me sad.
it is a nice spot but they show two things that aren't in the Olympics. one looked like a motoX best trick and the other is a guy doing some free running.
