This week the Democrats made their case.
The delegates waved their signs and clapped on cue.
And Barack Obama and Joe Biden (JoeBama!) made history.
Meanwhile, behind the scenes, on the streets of Denver loads of people wore their crazy ass outfits, dressed up to support their cause, advertised their niche product and used this week to showcase their unique opinions.
Here's a few I found interesting.
The 2008 Democratic convention wasn't just a chance for the donkey folks to try to make sense and rally around 1 candidate. It was chance to give the fringe of America 4 days to showcase their unique opinions on the streets of Denver.

I loved this DJ Barack'n the Tee.
Make out, not war? I'm with you pink lady.
Liberal Rednecks on the streets. Glad to know their with us.
Barack has water? No wonder he's raising so much cash.
Standing tall in a bikini. But not the most effective way to hand out pamphlets.
I never thought about religion in this way. Thanks for enlightening me.
The great GOP DNC seaway race.
Umm?
Old fashioned ladies hanging with the riot police
Next week, we'll look into the same oddities from the GOP convention.

You won't have to look to far for oddities. A close up of one of those face lesions should do it.
Maybe you can get a few picks of Lady Palin in a YBNBY T-shirt!
Looks like we may have a woman president soon after all ...
Palin is a very wise choice for McCain. Outside of that spat with her brother in law's boss, she's squeaky clean. This is about to finally get interesting...
I'm going to start a forum where yawl/y'all/we all can discuss the choice of Palin and whatever.
Put your thoughts there.
Forum on Palin is up

They have forums here?
okay, is anyone worried that mccain might win? i'm sorta worried cause apparently the pattern of popularty is similar to that of the previous elections, and some of my good friends were really upset cuzza it, but they were certain..., i'm not sure i like biden as VP choice...
McCain, doesnt seem all there in interviews in things he just seems kinda .... i dunno emptyheaded, i dont know if he's very smart, has anyone else heard that he finished last in his class in like highschool or somethin, is that true?
Can't help you NJD2. He could win. He could not. You just McCan't count him out. Romney, Guiliani & Huckabee learned that lesson.
He's charming and a fighter but when he needs to deliver a big speech, he seems to fall flat and come off like a block of wood. But perhaps that will change too.
I saw those Make Out Not War stickers all over the place.
NJ2 - No, I'm not worried that McCain might win. And, as each day passes, I'm growing less and less concerned that he might lose.
Oh puke. Political cosplay.
