Someone commented elsewhere that this episode was priceless not because of the talent that went into it, but that a valid point was made so effortlessly. If Jon Stewart can make mincemeat of McCain's "Celebrity" ad, then he'll have a great time with the new one that paints Obama as the messiah (or maybe Anakin Skywalker). Seriously, if the worst thing you can say about your opponent is "he's popular and everyone likes him." then you need to rethink your strategy.

Johnny boy needed to get back in the public eye. Get America talking about him again - these 2 ads succeeded in doing that. No matter how stupid they are, these pieces have a sense of humor and put Obama on the defensive - for some reason. Barack and his people have to expect more of this. It appears, based on their reactions they haven't learned from the past.
Yeah, Johnny needs some exposure... but the talk regarding his attack ads seems to be about how desperate he has become in the face of Obama's popularity. Those may be his downfall yet, especially if one dissects the content. Big if, though. Thank goodness Comedy Central is doing the 'real' journalism (boo CNN/Fox/MSNBC).
It is funny how effortlessly the point was made, although it took 10 minutes (with no lol cats I may add, boring). Um, just kidding.
i Like the other commercial that blames him for higher gas prices...........doesn't say how he made them go up... might have something to do with his popularity...
very funny like always. i really dislike this comedy central player always gives me problems.
