Senator Barack Obama jokingly spoke about how family legend states that he is related to renowned Old West gunslinger Wild Bill Hickok in a stump speech the other day. Obama said, "If Senator McCain wants a debate on taxes in this campaign, I'm ready, I'm ready to duel John McCain on taxes right here, quick draw." That is pretty funny.
It turns out, the relation is actually true. Genealogists say that Hickok is sixth cousin to Obama's fourth great-grandfather, Jacob Dunham.
Okay.
I'm not totally sure, but family legend says that I am related to William H. Bonney. I'm short tempered and quick with the adjectives. I'm also fond of whistling sad ballads.
With the recent gaffs in the McCain campaign, it appears the Arizona Senator is playing a hand of aces and eights. Not good.

McCain is playing with aces and eights, matches and gasoline, a BlackBerry while behind the wheel, scissors while running, Father Time, Mother Nature, and Big Worm's 'emotions' with a mouth full of food.
Obama's related to Wild Bill, eh? Prepare for Sean Hannity to tie Hickok to terrorism on tonight's show. Lovely.
(come to think of it, you should add Sean to the smite list too, then throw him in the Pit of Hades)

That link was pretty interesting. Actually, the real history of the West is way more interesting than the movies, if you ask me. Thanks for the info.
Man, I can hear McSame's lines now:
"I knew Wild Bill Hickok, he was a friend of mine, and you're no Wild Bill Hickok!"
There's the award for Joke Way Better Than Mine.
