I have to hand it to the Hellboy movie marketers. Some of their tactics have really brought a smile to my face. First came the virals, and now the big guy is either working for ConEd, or he can't stand the humidity on the subway platform. I can hardly blame him.

Adamwest, you bring up an interesting topic of transparency and commerce so I thought I'd answer it in two parts.

1. No, it's a complete coincidence. We cover pop culture, and the studios advertise on pop culture sites. No collusion.

2. Don't mistake this site for a transparent, honest, unpartisan organ of truth. We're cheating lying bastards out to make a buck, and if paid enough, we're more than happy to run long advertisements disguised as blog posts that'll fool you all without telling you.
