Anikan had his high tech podracer in Star Wars I. But I like this homemade model much better.

This guy built his street illegal podracer out of a few beer kegs and an old bike frame. Then he added a beer cup holder - brilliant! - which Lucas forgot.

All of this was put to good use when the keg podracer hit the streets for a soap box derby around San Francisco. Now that's a real challenge.
