This smells fake, but Gawker is reporting that a "monster" which has a rodent body and dinosaur-like beak washed ashore near Montauk, NY. Adding to the mystery, residents report that "there's a government animal testing facility very close by" which means what you think it does ... The Island of Dr. Moreau was non-fiction.
