Don't Cut Off His Nuts Reverend
Jesse Jackson is sorry that he got caught whispering disparaging remarks about Barrack Obama. And his testicles.

Not even Jesse's son is backing him up this time.

Isn't it time we stopped listening to the man who has become a caricature of himself? Does anyone take him seriously anymore? Or do most see him as the self-promoting, opportunistic gasbag that he really is?

Watch how Jesse avoids answering the questions and just goes right on rambling through his prepared talking points.

I hope Senator Obama doesn't get his nuts cut off.

I'm not a big fan of Barack Obama or John McCain for that matter, but I fricken hate Jesse Jackson.
I am encouraged by the fact that he has taken it upon himself to slap "Reverend" in front of his name. That gives us all hope of becoming a minister no matter how many illegitimate children we father.
Does anyone listen to him?
Is there a Black man alive that listens to him or likes him.?
I think he has done more for the progression of racism than Nathan Bedford Forrest.
To the reverend-You are a douche bag.
To anyone who financially supports him-You are also douche bags.

Jesse Jackson is an idiot. I'm still struggling to figure out why the media (Fox in particular) was even interested in his remedial opinions in the first place. He's more of an EMBARRASSMENT to black people, than he is a (self-proclaimed) "leader" (I'm black... trust me on this one). He maintains antiquated political views, and misrepresents his involvement in the Civil Rights Movement. Yes, he was there... but not in the capacity that he'd like to have everyone believe (he was Dr. King's FLUNKY). I doubt very seriously if we'll see a "Rev. Jesse Jackson Day" after he's worm food.

To me, he's about as ignorant as some of his political adversaries such as Strom Thurmond (who fathered an illegitimate BLACK child), and Jesse Helms.

In the spirit of his own outdated tactics - I think we should have a MARCH to shut him the hell up!! Ban his dumb ass from the airwaves!!

He's the LAST person to talk about someone's nuts getting cut off! I'd say he deserves to have his cut off, but the Child Support Agency got those about 4 years ago!

The guy doesn't even rhyme any more. And so many great words rhyme with "castration," too.

The way he 'answered' those questions was classic politician. Maybe he still wants to cut his nuts off.

ConservaLiberCrat_08,

Thanks for your thoughts, pal.

Part of why he makes me crazy is because of his connection to Dr. King. I revere Dr. King. He has been taking advantage of being with King since that terrible day on April 4th 1968. I think it's shameful.

He is a hypocrite. (Much like Strom Thurmond.) My favorite example is when Jesse was acting as "spiritual advisor" to Clinton during the Lewinsky affair. Supposedly, he knelt in the OVAL OFFICE and prayed with Clinton for forgiveness. Around this same time, he was having an affair with a young staffer at the Rainbow Coalition. Classy.

What religious leader says he wants to cut somebody's nuts off?

It's time to deny the good reverend any more media time.

Eddie Murphy had some good skits on him. One on SNL and another in Delirious. Good stuff. Might be on youtube.

Johnny - The time to deny the 'good' reverend any more media time is LONG OVERDUE! I'm sure Don Imus is somewhere laughing his ass off right about now.

said ConservaLiberCrat_08 on July 10, 2008 1:25 PM.

Maybe this will be the last straw. Let's hope. Whenever there is a controversy involving African Americans, somehow Jesse shows up and jumps in front of the camera.

Making waves with Obama is the height of stupidity. Let's hope this is it.

Speaking of Don Imus, what fricken throttles me, is the fact that anytime a celebrity makes a racist remark, the apologies have to go to the honorable R.J.J.
Hell, I think Mel Gibson had to apologise to RJJ over his drunk "Jew" Remarks.
Why the hell not Jerry Seinfield or Adam Sandler?
Why does the Reverend get to collect apologies?
He will probably have to apologise to himself on national TV for his Obama nut comment.

Jesse's kind of a busybody. When CU got a new Football coach a while back (years ago) he was in town to kvetch about the fact that the coach wasn't black.

said E on July 10, 2008 2:00 PM.

Dave - The apologies go to The Reverend because he's a self-righteous prick, who takes advantage of people who are scared to death of being "politically incorrect". He's claiming clout he never had, demanding respect he never deserved, and using it to bully people for his own personal gain.

Sadistically, I wish some odd organization existed, like the "Castrated Uncles of Michigan" (or C.U.M.), who deeply took offense to his 'insensitive remarks' and vowed to boycott his coalition, and shove a picket sign up his ass if he tried to stop them.

I'd like that very much actually.

CLC-08
That's brilliant.
Today is probably the only day in my life that I wish I would have lost my nuts in some sort of accident. An Iraqi war accident would have been ideal. Jesse offending an Iraqi war vet who lost his nuts while serving his country. Oh how sweet it would be.
I would be on the Today show tomorrow.
Good bye Rainbow Push Coalition, Good bye Jesse.

said Dave on July 10, 2008 3:08 PM.

Dave - Seriously, I can't stop laughing!

said ConservaLiberCrat_08 on July 10, 2008 3:23 PM.

I love that Jesse's testicle based faux pas is bringing our readers together.

Maybe some good will come of this after all.

I've got my lighter in the air Johnny. Kumbaya.

Now if only Al Sharpton will say something stupid (like cutting Hillary's tits off), my day/week/month will be complete.

said republicrat on July 10, 2008 4:50 PM.

I'm not totally discounting that happening. It's possible.

said Johnny Wright on July 10, 2008 5:07 PM.

Guys, this has gone a little too far. I think that we owe Jesse and Al a public apology.

said Dave on July 10, 2008 5:17 PM.

Let's get Eminem to be a political commentator. He could be the next Tim Russert. Then Jesses' comments would be taken in the context they were meant.

ONly probably E is that Eminem is 400 pounds and won't leave his house.

said Baierman on July 10, 2008 5:57 PM.

Well, him not leaving home might be a problem, but weighing 400 lbs isnt' a disqualifier, (more of a feature really). The man can talk some serious trash though. Get him his own show and let Jesse or whoever let it all hang out. I can totally see it.

said E on July 10, 2008 9:08 PM.

Talk about double standards. If some white guy had said what Jackson had said about Obama, Jackson would called for the guy's head on a plate. It's just sickening.

said Ruth on July 10, 2008 10:43 PM.

I think you guys should do a poll on who's worse, Sharpton or Don King.
