I am refusing to make any "Holy _____ Batman!" quips. I'm not going to do it. The Dark Knight has made approximately eleventy kajillion dollars this past weekend. Something like that, I'm not so great with the numbers.
Cinematic Wizard Christopher Nolan and cool-as-hell Christian Bale conjured up a winner, beating down the incredibly undeserving Spiderman 3 for the largest ever opening weekend.
Can't believe The Caped Crusader edged out Mamma Mia. Go figure.
Well done, lads. Take a well deserved victory lap around the backlot.

Christian Bale breathed new life into the old Batman franchise.
He is an amazing actor (see American Psycho) and deserves all the accolades given to him.
Christian's next trick will be to revive the Terminator franchise.
I'll be first in line again at the theater to see it when he does.
