If you missed VH1's Rock Honors 2008: The Who, have no fear kids. I am putting the video below. Why? Because I love you.
And if I can prevent one young person from listening to embarrassing top 40 radio and steer them towards music that matters, it's a good day. That's a win.
You'll see The Foo Fighters, Flaming Lips, Tenacious D, Pearl Jam and others rip through some classic tracks before the legends themselves take the stage.
Roger and Pete can still bring the thunder.
Feel the rhythm, feel the soul, hail hail rock and roll...

Will someone please tell Pearl Cheese to stop soiling my love of The Who. Who the fuck named them heirs to The Who anyway?
Pete did.
You DO realize that most of that is essentially Top 40 music, right? How about pointing people to some music that isn't just derivative of the same old rock tropes that have been endlessly recycled since the 60s?
What is a "trope?"
Circus slang for tight rope.
It's not "derivative," it's the ORIGINAL. The Who helped INVENT rock, and they are the greatest rock band of all time.
Good to see Pete and Roger still kicking it.
