"A little too much magnesium I guess."

Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to introduce the human cartoon character. A guy who's experiment with fireworks goes off not quite the way he planned. Got to be careful with them explosives Wilber.

It may be a fake but I don't care, it made me laugh, in a schadenfreude kinda way.

Nah it's kinda funny but it's fake/staged.

I guess it's fake... He dims down the light, then go to the table, later, the lights are 'full power'...
And the explosion... looked fake too...
But I laughed ny arse off at first sight... hehehe

'What'd I tell you about lighting fireworks of indoors?'

One of the few things I recall from chemistry class was watching the teacher light up some magnesium. It was really bright, even in a fully lit class during the day. Didn't blow up though.

It's fake for sure. Stop the video at 1:42/1:43 and take a good look. There is no blast concussion anywhere. Not on the 'protective cover' or the curtains behind. Plus, his hair is already singed, but never seen burning.

More proof? He's wearing a different shirt after the blast.

Still, kudos to the man for singeing his hair for the sake of authenticity. And the dazed behavior after the blast is oscar-worthy.
