My beloved Seattle Supersonics have been high-jacked from the Emerald City by corporate scum and are moving to Oklahoma City.

Even though the theft has been in the works for quite some time, I still didn't think it would happen. How could it? How could Seattle, a bustling metropolis with a history of being a great sports city, lose a team to a three horse village in Oklahoma?!?

This shocking and embarrassing decision does feel like a significant part of my childhood has been stolen.

Well, how about that. We hit 21 million pageviews on July 4th. How patriotic.

The last day of our NAMU giveaway, and I saved a patriotic clip for the 4th. We have TWO pairs of free tickets to give away to YBNBY readers for a music festival taking place in Pittsburgh, PA on August 8th & 9th. In addition to Bob Dylan, artists include The Raconteurs, Gnarls Barkley, The Roots, The Black Keys and many more. There's also a second stage where 19 of the country's top college bands duke it out for free recording time in LA.

You'll need to make your own travel arrangements, so it's going to be ideal for someone who lives in or near Pittsburgh. Oh, and everyone who goes to the concert also gets a free limited edition T Shirt, so that's a pretty good deal.
