Shameless. They were only trying to illuminate the following scripture - "thy rod and thy staff they comfort me"

Perhaps the key to this falic (phallic) light cover is in the inscription, "honor thy father and mother."

Talk about getting turned on to Jesus....This is really wrong.

but isn't that one of the founding principles of catholicism? where men repress their sexuality until children become the flock of fucking? and then they get transfered to another church.

said etantao on June 23, 2008 12:54 PM.

Baierman, it's phallic, not falic.

Thanks Kate de great. Contributing to this site has certainly exposed my serious educational downfall, spelling. As you've noted more than once. Don't give up on me, one day I'll be a mediocre speller.

said Baierman on June 23, 2008 2:53 PM.

No prob, Baierman. I must've been an English teacher in a former life or something. Oh, and the other day someone wrote "It stuck in my crawl...." when I'm pretty sure they meant "stuck in my craw" - like a Crow's beak. I know, I know, I should just let it go.

said Katherine the Great on June 23, 2008 3:06 PM.

That was me Katherine. It was a typo. Damn auto-correct. I caught it the next day and fixed it.

My apologies.
