I hope whoever suggested the WNBA's new promos was fired. They have been running during the NBA playoffs, and all they promote is a giggle.
I understand they are trying to be ironic. Giving some of the perceived myths of woman's basketball in hopes of dispelling them. I get it. But here's the rub; the "myths" they are talking about? Most sports fans believe them.
"Nothing exciting ever happens..." Uh, yep, that sounds about right.
"I'm sorry, but you couldn't pay me to watch women's basketball..." I'll be honest, it would cost you an awful lot.
"If you want to see real basketball, don't watch me." Agreed.
You can be ironic all you want, but the "highlights" are still finger rolls. You were thinking it. I'm just a big enough jerk to say it out loud.

I'm just not interested. If they're playing cause they enjoy it or there are people who do like it, great. Not for me though. Same with soccer.
I'd like it if they had walls instead of boundary lines off of which they could play the ball, lower baskets and wore roller skates.
