17-year-old Bo Burnham sings about math. It makes about as much sense as new math does, but way more entertaining.

Bah. Tom Lehrer already wrote a song called New Math and it's much, much better:

It's kind of unfair to compare even a very talented 17-year-old to a master like Tom Lehrer. I'd say Bo still comes off fairly well in the comparison. His main problem here is the very repetitive three-note melody and the hackneyed chord sequence. The kid has writing chops and timing, the rest - like longer, more adventurous melodies, the occasional key change and the importance of a strong middle eight - he can learn.
