Here's a prime example of a good intention gone horribly wrong.
"Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more serious than that."
Bill ShanklyMaybe I'm too late in posting this. It's only been on YouTube two days, but it's already got 1,125,000 views. so there's a good chance you might already have seen it.
Matt Harding returns from a 14 month, 42 country trip with another "Dancing" video. When I first read about it, I wondered if the same format as the other two would be quite as interesting a third time around, but yes, I think it is.
And full marks to Stride Gum for their continued support. I worked at Stride's agency when the second video came out. The creatives there were pretty underwhelmed with this, preferring instead to create the Stride Factory TV spots, and only begrudgingly featuring a small link to it on the website. Luckily in this case, the marketing department at Cadbury-Adams had a far better sense of what makes great marketing than their agency seemed to. Not sure how much of Matt's trip they funded (hopefully every single penny) but 1.125m views in 2 days is a hard thing to fault.
For anyone that's been living under a rock the last few years, the first two videos are after the jump
