Thumbs up, no out

I'm not really sure why this thumb is up, considering where it is coming from. But perhaps when you view the full image after the jump you can explain it to me...(be warned it's a bit shocking.)

Shouldn't the hand come out the mouth if the lubricant is so good? Course, this ad was published in Eastern Europe so maybe the reason is a cultural thing.

From what I understand, the 'thumbs up' came from dragging the thumb across your throat during a gladiator fight in old Rome. It meant to kill your opponent. The 'thumbs down' was meant to put your sword in the dirt and let your opponent live. FYI.

That's helpful. So I guess then what this ad is trying to say is that with this lubricant you can stick your hand all the way through your opponent and thereby make him/her a human kabob.
