My shiny new video iPod is ready and waiting for content. I started by adding songs from the Worst Bands of All Time. Poison. Hanson. Limp Bizkit. YES. Right Said Fred. The CRUE. Creed. The Beatles. But what I really need is some new podcasts to listen to.
Any suggestions? Thanks, in advance.
Here's what I already subscribe to, in case you're looking:

Big Ideas - some Canadian lecture series. Getchou some lernin!
ESPN - Mike and Mike show, Pardon the Interruption, Daily Recap...
Open Source - Christopher Lydon talking world affairs.
This American Life - Ira Glass and crew w/odd stories.
On Point - interview show w/Tom Ashbrook.
Good luck. Keep in mind, as Poison tells us, you Don't Need Nothing But a Good Time.
I cannot recommend The Ricky Gervais Show enough. Not only the most downloaded podcast of all time, the funniest you'll ever hear.
If you haven't been introduced to the twisted genius of Karl Pilkington, you are welcome.
NPR has a lot of great shows. I subscribe to 4 of them. This American Life, Studio 360, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, and CarTalk
you should listen to The Moth. They are 10-15 min personal stories told in to an audience. Usually poingnant (sp?), always funny. I made a fool of myself laughing out loud in a phoenix airport terminal yesterday listening to the recording of Malcolm Gladwell recount his early days at the Washington Post
Kevin Smith's SModCast is hilarious, as well as Jimmy Pardo's Never Not Funny. WebbAlert is a good video podcast, has any tech/internet news and a hot & funny host in Morgan Webb. If you like sports, then Bill Simmons' B.S. Report from ESPN is great.
May I recommend both episodes of the YesButNoButYes podcast?
We should really do another one of those.
Bill Simmons' B.S. Report is really good.
Well of course you should check out Accident Hash *laugh* (it is my podcast)
I'd also add Things I Learned This Week on the video side. Always good for a laugh.

And I totally second Johnny Wright's recommendation of the Ricky Gervais podcast.
Penn Gillette's podcast has always been a favor. Funny, poignant, and just absurd enough to keep it interesting.
Happy Tree Friends! (Video)
I second Becky's recommendation of Downtown Soulville.
And I'll add 2 more WFMU shows.
Muriel's Treasure with Irwin: wfmu.org/playlists/MZ
The Best Show on WFMU with Tom Scharpling: friendsoftom.com
step up to techno.
dylandrazen.com is a great place to find some solid DJ mixes; so is inigokennedy.com.
also, sheldondrake.com, more varied than straight up techno, very trippy.
blentwell.com is a trove of mixes of all kinds.
Good recommendations. Some good new stuff for me. Might I suggest The Skeptic's Guide to the Universe?
Check out "WMMR's Preston and Steve Podcast" -- they mentioned this website before, which is how I found out about it!
They're a morning radio show in Philadelphia. Listen to their show for at least 5 days, they call it the "Preston and Steve Challenge". You'll be a life-time listener after 5 days, guaranteed!
Gadzooks!
I also commend the BS Report to the audience here. It's a sports broadcast to start with, but it does plenty of other stuff. It has the honest-but-fun vibe I like at ybnby. I just listened to the latest one, and Chuck Klosterman was the guest. Great stuff.
You know, when I first got an iPod I thought I'd use it on occasion when I wanted to listen to music while jogging or something. I do use it that way, but, I use it more often doing household chores and then I listen to relatively enlightenling, sometimes very educational podcasts. Enjoying the hell out of my shuffle, must say.
KERA's THINK, an NPR program out of Texas, I believe.
EconTalk - not a dry program and keeps interesting topics.
Thanks for all the recos my friends. These are all great suggestions and my Podcast list just expanded 200%.
PS - If I could throw in another podcast that someone told me about this weekend:
The Midwest Teen Sex Show -(It's a parody videocast of kinda what not to do.) Funny stuff.
