Fribble, Frosty or Shake?

Help me end a debate I'm having with a friend. My vote is for the Fribble. My friend's all about the Frosty. But when it comes to frozen, drinkable dessert, McD's Shake is the market leader.

Care to weigh in? Many thanks.

I've never heard of a Fribble, so I really shouldn't be voting--but I've always had a soft spot (mainly my gut) for McDonald's shakes. Wendy's Frosty is just soft-serve ice cream. It really doesn't qualify as a shake.

I will say that In 'N Out has pretty awesome shakes--the Neopolitan is F'ing AWESOME!

Yeah, in-n-out shakes are killer. So are Johnny Rockets but they're more regional places so I kept them out. Good call though.

I've never heard of a Fribble, either. Is that from some chain, or is it a NYC thing? I'm old-fashioned; I like a root beer float.

I have to say that Red Robin do amazing shakes (and great burgers too).

Hey, y'all, Dairy Queen (when made right) makes a heckuva good chocolate shake. And have you had Chili's. Yeow!

So far The Frosty is in the lead but we've had lots of other suggestions like
DQ Blizzard (5 votes)
Carl's Jr.
Chili's Chocolate Shake (2 votes)
Sonic's creamsicle
Steak-n-shake (2 votes)
In-n-Out Burger shake (3 votes)
Handful of Gravel

Keep voting!

I had a friend in high school who worked at McDonald's and said that the stuff they use to make the shakes was poured in huge quantities into the top of the machine, and all kinds of stuff would fall in when they would pour it. She said she'd seen band-aids and fake finger nails during her tenure at Mickey D's.

I haven't had a shake from there since then.

OH and another time I was in Friendly's when a man got into a fight with the manager about the sub-par quality of his fribble, and how he'd had fribbles in Friendly's all across the country and he had never had a fribble as bad as this. The entire argument was laughable because no argument can be taken seriously when the word "fribble" must be used so often.
