There were many nights during my youth when Mom fired up the skillet and fried us up a box of 2cm thick Steak-Umm's. I totally devoured them - my doughboy childhood physique stands as proof. But years passed, Mom moved on to turkey burgers and I thought Steak-Umm went away. Turns out I was just looking in the wrong section of the frozen food aisle.

As regular readers of my Wednesday is New Comics Day column know - I'm a little obsessed with comics. That's why one regular comics related column just isn't enough for me. My new column is over at another site and is called Anatomy of a Panel. Each month I'll pick a scene from a comic book and interview the people that were involved in making that scene happen - writers, artists, colorists, editors, etc.

The first one is up and it features the team behind Vertigo's excellent crime drama Scalped.
