Video Game Reviews: For The Video Game Generation
I'm too old for video games. At least according to my parents, my girlfriend, my roommates, my priest, and the haberdasher down the block. But how old is too old for video games? No generation before mine has had to deal with being born during the video game boom and finding themselves in their late 20's and still playing. I don't consider them a waste of time, I consider myself leading the charge. Blazing a new frontier. If only I could get that orange Cheeto stain off my fingers.

Because we're defining history here, we need to accept that video games are here to stay and many of them are cinematic in their scope. And with that, we need real video game reviewers. The Eberts and Shallots are starting to pop up, but we've also got a funny, and British (and therefore highly articulate and smart sounding) critic in Yahtzee. He's like the Neil Cumpston of the video game world. For a few more videos, continue reading or check them all out at The Escapist.

You're probably too old for video games if you still call them "video games". I think that's the litmus test right there.

Hey, if my 58 year old dad still asks me for playstation 2 games for Father's Day, you're not too old. According to my Dad he got hooked on Atari and stand-up Aracade games in the 70's and just kept on trucking.

I am 26 and intend to keep playing them until I'm dead. The only trick is balancing entertainment with obsession.

hear hear kbk! the thing of playing as we get older is that you have to know that you just cant play as much as you'd like because of your responsibilities (job, family, university etc...) but that means you begin to miss good games for the lack of time.
