
Look at that logo above. Seemingly innocuous, right? It looks like something you'd see adhered to the side of a building along the highway, or at the top corner of a business card. Now turn that logo 90 degrees clockwise. Look long and hard. The UK's Office of Government Commerce missed it, and you may have too if a pervert (that would be me) didn't point it out to you. They really pulled a boner with that design.
They followed the Madonna rule of marketing...as long as they're talking about you, you're in good shape (a rule that has been trampled on like Pamplonian bulls over drunk tourists by Lindsay, Paris and Britney)...
If you can triple your marketing dollar by getting people to talk about something controversial that "you didn't know about" then you have won...
Think Oprah when she came out with her "O" Magazine...sure she didn't know that it was also the name of a German fetish magazine...uh huh...
It's either that or in both instances they gave very important jobs to very disgruntled soon to be ex employees....
