I'm surprised Haterade didn't mention last night's "WTF" moment on American Idol. The artists were scheduled to sing two songs each. But after only singing the first of his two songs, Jason Castro received a critique from Paula on BOTH his performances.

Paula's confused at the best of times, but to me, this just confirms what I've always suspected - Paula watches the rehearsals and plans her critique accordingly. All those "surprised reactions" are carefully stage managed.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but it just adds a little to the "it's all fixed" feeling I have in my gut about this show. Here's a prediction from YBNBY - within two seasons, a huge voterigging scandal is going to descend on the AI producers, and kill the franchise. There's too much money at stake, and the temptation to favor the "right" candidate too great.
