I miss Flight of the Conchords.

Found two sites over the weekend combining incredible artistic skill and attention to detail, with a profound love of all things pop.
Jared Brown creates some of the sickest embroidery you've ever seen, with pieces dedicated to everyone from Spock to Voltron.
And an illustrator named Tyler Stout has channeled his love of B movies into some amazing posters and prints.
I want them all.
Last week the best shows on television returned. Yes, Battlestar Galactica goes without saying (and at some point I'll get around to posting my opinions), but long time readers will know we're also huge fans of Hell's Kitchen.
So I'm interested to see how this pan's out. (Pan - get it? Sigh) Hell's Kitchen, the video game. Available soon for Mac and PC. Watch the video here, big boy.
Don't sniff dude!
The guy who took the shot is photographer Todd McLellan. I tucked a few other shots he took after the jump.
We hope you're all enjoying the new here on YBNBY. The "Breakfast Links" in the sidebar are powered by del.icio.us, the social bookmarking site. It's a powerful tool that allows you to just quickly tag something while you're surfing so you remember it.
Which leads us to this cool little idea - a wine company that's taken the idea of bookmarking to the labels on their bottles. If you're out and you taste a wine you really like, just rip off the perforated tab to remember the name and brand for later purchase. Especially useful when you've drunk a few bottles.

A few months ago, I watched in awe at the video demonstration of Crayon Physics Deluxe, but couldn't experience it myself - PC only, really needed tablet, only available version is an earlier version. Which is why I'm so glad to see the appearance of Magic Pen, a free online flash game that seems to bring a lot of the same ideas to a web browser. I played this WAY more than I should yesterday - there's something very addictive about drawing little seesaws and trebuchets.

30 Rock returns on Thursday...very exciting.
- I'm a producer...why won't women have sex with me!?!
- Bill Maher says chill out until all the votes are counted.
- Sometimes the simplest things make me happiest.
- Anyone watch Paranormal State? Here's Chip's website.
- And great interview (but note to Colbert...Stipe's gay.)
Folks at Starbucks have been busy lately (and I'm not just talking about the employees suing to keep their tips) working on a couple different programs meant to generate excitement.
A couple weeks back, the brand introduced My Starbucks Idea, a Digg-like community site where coffee lovers offer up suggestions, and vote on which ideas they think are worth trying out. I was skeptical at first, but they're getting a whole lot of feedback, and some ideas are already being taken to the next level. Let's see if it translates into any noticeable differences at the stores.
And last week, this email went out, announcing something really big was going to happen at Bryant Park on Tuesday. (oh the suspense is just unbearable). The email says to show up at 11:00am, and for non-Manhattanites, just go to any Starbucks at noon. I'm picturing a 12 story Vanilla Latte with extra foam...call the paramedics.
