The Baby Maker

babymaker.jpg

Here's a little rainy Friday afternoon fun. Courtesy of Tina Fey and her Baby Mama flick (and Conan O'Brien for years), go to the Baby Maker site, upload two images and see what the product of your love would look like.

The example here is for myself and Max, although we may need to move to Masachusetts to make it legal.

It seems almost sacriligeous to post something about Star Trek on the day that THE BEST SHOW ON TELEVSION (aka Battlestar Galactica) returns after a year's absence, but this list is just too good to pass up - A Complete History of False Advertising in Star Trek Movie Posters.
"At the end of the universe lies the beginning of vengeance" line. How were they at the end of the universe? Plus, the poster shows the Enterprise firing on the Regula I space station, what the hell is up with that? "To hell with science, Spock! Blow that research station to pieces!
Read the whole list here.

Personal Soundtrack Shirt

Think Geek did an April Fools Day ad for a product that didn't exist. The Personal Soundtrack Shirt has a built-in speaker and can play various mood themes to make your real life as dramatic as a movie. The item proved to be so popular that they are now scrambling to produce a real shirt, because you need Yakety Sax available next time a mugger chases you.

Caminito del Rey

If you are one of the many with a fear of heights, or rather a fear of falling from heights, you might want to skip this video. Caminito del Rey is a pathway between the Chorro Falls and Gaitanejo Falls in Spain, built over a hundred years ago. It's 700 feet from the bottom of the gorge. Many people have fallen from it. After four people died in 1999 and 2000, the entrances were closed. But someone with a camera made the trek, so you can get your thrills. If you get really queasy, remember you've been warned. I didn't make it all the way through the video, so can't say for sure how they made out.
