There are plenty of precedents for a boycott of the Chinese Olympics.
The Moscow Olympics were widely boycotted because of the Soviet Union's actions in Afghanistan.
The Atlanta Olympics were boycotted by... China. Why?
No idea.
But the actions of China in the current climate are nothing short of diametrically opposed to the 'spirit' of the Olympics.
Time to pull the plug on their ego project - they may be the most populous nation on Earth and responsible for all the cheap shit in our shops, but no country or ideology should be immune to our scorn and disgust.
