My first question wasn't why the governor of my great state got involved with a prostitute. It wasn't what lead to his affair. No, all I wanted to know was what a $5,500 prostitute looks like. I spent most of the morning searching the news outlets for a glimpse of "Kristen" only to end up with lots of dead-ends and more than enough photos of Kristen Bell*. So I turn to you dear readers. I want to hear your speculation, your jokes, your tender misgivings about the American political system. And because we don't use URLs or HTML in our comments, if you DO happen to find a picture of this alleged "Kristen", carefully and creatively point me in the proper direction in the comments section below. It's not the value, it's the perception of value. A guy like Spitzer would think a $100 meal at a nice restaurant is better than a $10 meal at Shoneys, even if it's the exact same meat and potatoes. And he would also think he deserves the "better" one. Perception (meaning "packaging") is paramount.
I mean to say "packaging and pricing". Slap a higher price on something and people will automatically believe it is worth more.

Agreed. It's like those ads for phone sex lines. The girls in the ads are definitely not the girls you'll be talking with.
