So what did everyone think of SNL this week? Not their best effort, IMHO, but some bright moments. Some general comments...
- I didn't even know who Amy Adams was (never saw Enchanted or Junebug) but she really impressed me. Could've been a series regular, despite some really crappy sketches. As I watched, I kept getting a "high school valedictorian, probably threw off the curve" kinda vibe from her. Then again, she's famous, and I'm posting links to cheeseburger games, so who's the a'hole.
- The Project Runway bit should be a weekly sketch. Amy Poehler as Christian = comedy gold.
- Loved the Hillary/Barack sketch. But this morning on the Joe Scarborough show, they were saying how that clip continued to show the show's love for Hillary. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that a dig at the 3:00am spot, not Barack?
And finally, a couple clips after the jump

I can certainly understand if you haven't seen 'Enchanted" or 'Junebug', but you didn't see 'Talledega Nights'? Amy Adams played Ricky Bobby's assistant.
Or the Office. She played the girl that sold the purses that Jim dated for a while and then dumped on the cruise.
