Hey Jellio, Arthur C. ClarkE didn't write/direct the movie 2001. That was Kubrick. Clarke wrote the book, in conjunction with Kubrick writing the screenplay. Come on, he deserves better than this horrible one line writeup.
Yup, I know he wrote the book. Just a little joke. Didn't mean to offend. I'm not the biggest sci-fi buff, so I'll let one of the other writers post a more fitting tribute.
