Last week, we had out first finalist casualty as David Hernandez was stripped of his chances to win American Idol. Haterade checks up on the performances of the remaining 11 and let's you know who he thinks is checking out.

What luck. After posting our Rejected Sex in the City posters this morning, Gothamist and others have reported that Kristen Davis may have made a sex tape. Studio exec's were quick to capitalize on this rumor with this new movie poster.
(Thanks Jellio and Gothamist.)
This monster (Zorp!) laptop sleeve and lots of other fun covers are products of Barry's Farm. A company started by Barry and his girlfriend Katie. Together they create "fun and functional products in the confines of their apartment." In addition to the laptop covers they've got t-shirts, purses, buttons and even pencil cases in their unique store.
I love that Let's go camping (marshmallow toasts human) T.
"Get Carried Away."
This is the brilliant piece of wordplay that's supposed to sell this much anticipated summer movie.
Well we at YBNBY had some other ideas that we hope are just as compelling and, perhaps, more true to character. Enjoy.
Metafilter posted a link to Esquire’s recent article on George Clooney. It seems interesting, but it’s long, so I’ll read it later (as if I will ever have the time). But in the comments at Metafilter, there stands this gem: The Greatest George Clooney Story Ever. Originally from a longer article at Salon. Thanks for the laughs, ColdChef! There’s nothing here we don’t already know, but what fun for your real intentions to be serenaded! Ooh Girl, starring Mike Polk of Runaway Box. More here.
I stopped by the Deitch Projects gallery in Soho this past weekend, and found dozens of people being loud, laughing and generally having a really good time...not your normal Manahattan art gallery behavior. Did I stumble upon some private hipster bash I had no right being at? Was ecstacy being handed out at the door? Nope, this was a new exhibit by an artist named Michel Gondry called Be Kind Rewind, based on the film of the same name.
If you're not familiar, Be Kind Rewind is the flick in which Jack Black and Mos Def recrete scenes from dozens of famous films. Well, the exhibit is basically an interactive tribute to the movie, with a bunch of makeshift movie sets, props and costumes, and all visitors are encouraged to shoot their own videos.
Is it art? Who knows? Actually, no...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's not art. But it did look like alot of fun. So if you're in Manhattan, or coming soon for a visit, stop by Deitch Projects and take some very cool home movies.
And while we're onthe subject of cool, new online services...from the folks behind Worth1000, comes Aviary. From what I can make of it, it's basically freeware photoshop, plus a whole lot of other tools. It's still in Beta, so you have to sign up. But for those who have always said they're going to learn photoshop one day, this could be just the thing you need.
You may or may not know about Hulu. Scara covered it last year, but it was still in Beta back then so I didn't pay much attention. Well I'm paying attention now. Hulu is a collaboration between NBC and News Corp...basically YouTube, but with full episodes of tv shows and entire movies, all for free, all with embedding capability. And the coolest part is the clipping tool that lets you start and end the clips wherever you like. So even the most technically challenged blogger can clip out whatever f-bombs they like and post them to their facebook page...briliant.
- What does your poo say about you? That's right America..wake up!
- For fans of trompe l'oeil art (whoa...French), I give you...the Thing.
- And while we're on the subject of big guys, the new Hulk trailer is out.
- The Always Sunny in Philly guys have sold a new series to Fox...yeah!
- And that didn't take long. NY Gov and wife admit extramarital nookie.
