Movies in a Minute

It's exactly what you think it is. Movie plots boiled down to their 60 second essence. With a sense of humor of course. Since 1998, Movies-in-a-Minute has described loads of movies, but surprisingly not one of my favorites Enter the Dragon. So here goes...

Enter the Dragon

(Bruce Lee heads to evil Han's training camp of assassins to avenge his sisters death. Finds out Han is making drugs.)

Bruce Lee:

Whaaah!

Bolo:

Grrr!

Han:

Attack!!

(Bruce gets mad. Kills everyone. British army arrives to mop up the mess.)

Christvertising?

Jesus Christ, this has got to be a joke. Right?

According to Christvertising CEO Ed Van Pelt: “If they like your product, so does God.” That’s some big promise. But Christvertising claims to have an extended network of prayer groups who’ll pray for your brand to succeed. They call it Brand Prayer Alignment. So Mr and Ms. Advertising Director, forget the millions you spend in research, planning,TV, Print, SEO and viral videos, just trust your brand to the power of prayer. I’m talking to you Trojan, Head On, Axe, Hillside Honda and Viapren Strips. God Bless your brand.

Their videos (some posted after the jump) had me rolling. But I'm free to make fun, I know I’m going to hell.

Steak and BJ Day

March 14th, one month after Valentines Day, is the male payoff holiday, Steak and BJ Day.

No cards, no flowers, no special nights on the town; the name of the holiday explains it all, just a steak and a BJ. Thats it. Finally, this twin pair of Valentine's Day and Steak and Blowjob Day will usher in a new age of love as men everywhere try THAT much harder in February to ensure a memorable March 14th!

Visit the Steak and BJ Day site for recipes and, uh, other stuff. As for me, it’s just a reminder that no one spent a penny on me for Valentines day.

Having Fun with LOST

After a few season's on hiatus, or stuck in writer or creative or character limbo, Michael came back to LOST last night. (I don't think that's a spoiler folks, they teased it and made it pretty clear in the trailers.)

So where was has he been?

Dubya's Swan Song

Never known for his sense of tact and timing, George Bush sang a little song at the Gridiron Club dinner. This is where one would normally say, “Don’t give up your day job,” but I certainly don’t want to say that. You can read the lyrics at the Lede. His remarks after the song are on video, too.
